 actually a single image, I just chopped a bit out where the line is. : )
Taken in Bali a few weeks ago...

Interesting illusion, it really appears to be two separate photos. I like the b&w but wonder what I'm missing in those colorful shirts and umbrella, too.l

I like the ID tags. Just in case they can't remember who they are or what they're doing. And you fooled me on the dip part - I'd not have guessed this was a single image.

Another example of an image that would probably tank in a challenge but holds great artistic value and is visually interesting. No only the diptych styling, but the textures here against each other--the shirts vs. the walk way... the chain vs. the umbrella. nice.

oh .. did you have the title batik when i made that comment .. ??
surely i saw it .. and then it must'v gone right out'v my head when i was making the comment ... probably coz it took me all of two minutes to make it .. lucky i'v got a bit more memory than a fish .. i'v been told their memory goes for a whopping one second ..
that's me thinking of the postitives ..:)

edit to fix a sentence that didnt make sense ..
i'm still trying to think of the positives .. its getting harder and harder .. !!!

You're right, they're not batik, but I thought it fit the image and I couldn't think of anything else!... : )

Works well as a diptych. You would take them for related images rather than having been one.
