This is an end result of two separate photo sessions and four different ideas. For some reason, I had an image stuck in my head of juice (or something) coming out of the apple. I wanted this to be a fun picture but not compromise it technically.
After couple of different setups and attempts – here is our very own Juicy Dude. Maybe it just me, but I see this dude that formed when water (tinted with green food colouring) came out. I’m really hoping others see the same. I also think, if I did this 1000 more times I wouldn`t be able to capture the same dude.
Converted from RAW, adjust fill flash, recovery, blacks, increased temperature, de-saturated reds and orange colour and small adjustments to luminance of red colour, cropped. Smart sharpen, image resize, sharpen again and finally save for web.
And I cannot forget to specially thank my wife for help with this setup. When this picture was taken our youngest daughter Maya was only nine days old. So, needless to say Marta has been very busy and last thing she need was getting sprayed on with coloured water. Like I mentioned at the beginning, this was the fourth idea for this challenge, others resulted in immediate change of clothes and three or four towels :) Thanks Marta!
