 Another creature with the Polaroid overlay by chele found here. This time I used it purely as a border; I erased the central portion coloring and scratches.
Processing was Color Efex Pro tonal contrast then bi-colored filter and some unsharp mask. Oh, and I brightened the eye up by making a copy of it to a new layer set to screen blending mode.

I wouldn't like to get that close to a snake, but you have gotten the rewards for your trouble. Great dyptich.
