Some of the comments here sound like you are angry that the photo isn't perfected to YOUR standards. The other people took it for what it was and commented in a respectful way. It's whatever. I like my photo.

If we didn't have photoshop, I think we would still take the time to think about focus, exposure, and other distracting elements within the viewfinder. I'm sure if you take a second go at this, it would come out much better. Don't forget to use the maximum pixels when resizing. I gave you a 6 for originality at least. I don't think the blue ribbon winner deserved theirs with a complete rip-off execution either...

Nice play on words!

Good idea, horrible execution. If this was a legitimate effort at making a good photo, I recommend that you check out the tutorials section of the site to get started on making better photos. Plus, the size alone on this entry is enough to send it down to a 2 for me.

Bonus points for originality!

Several extra points for creativity. Background texture and color echo older camera bodies.

I found this shot to be very creative. I'm throwing down a 7

This could have been fabulous but it's got the "I've tried to overcompensate a poor exposure with over-sharpening" syndrome.

Nice idea, but I don't like the execution. Focus is off, and interest just isn't really there.

haha... this could have been way cool... I would have complicated the background with a strip of film or something. The current background texture is a little awkward.

I dunno if it was your intention to have the apples brown, but it would have looked better if they were soaked in lemon juice so they were clean looking...

Great idea, the photo seems technically flawed.

Very nice idea, it just looks a touch blurry. But nice take on the subject!

Don't know if this qualifies. Maybe an apple in the middle would have topped it off and ensured it met the challenge. Very clever all the same.

I wonder how many people will get the pun beyond the play on words and know that Apple's photo editing software is called Aperture.
