I saw the brown lemon in water for Led Zeppelin and knew I had to do it. I dont have studio lighting (yet) so it was really hard. I took a 10 gallon fish tank outside to use the sunlight. I thought that would help but I still got the shadow from the front bar. Echhhh. So I had to take it in and used two plain lamp lights shining into the water and put the tank on a little table I had. I took about 60 pictures and liked this one when it was done.

I decided to go back and get a few more just in case I decided to change this entry later on when I heard some creaking. The next thing I know the table broke and the lamp fell in the tank and the tank fell to the floor! WHAT a mess! I saved my camera and I saved the tank and I wasnt electricuted but that is when I just decided this entry was good enough! hahaha.

Here is the image that browned that I used:

Much better then the brown. Refreshingly lemony with a zesty tang. Good sharp detail and nicely processed. 7

You know, the original source image for this one was a surprisingly good shot for a brown ribbon... You're working witht he same elements for sure, using them in a somewhat different way, but you're definitely meeting the challenge.

As far as execution goes, ultimately this image doesn't satisfy me very much, it feels sort of flat, not anywhere near as lively as I'd expect it to be given the elements you're using. The original, on the other hand, for all it's technical imperfections, had a lot of movement and power to it. So for me, while this is technically well done in the sense that it's *freezing* stuff well, it's not really an improvement over the original.

Still, you addressed the challenge directly and you showed good skills. 5 from me.
