 Just trying something different. Not sure if an oval falls within the diptych category. Have to wait some hours for my food-a-week photo, I'm sure you can guess one of the ingredients.

Added note: Made of two photos. I used some Gaussian blur for the background. The front one was made on a white plate.

For a few moments I thought the strawberry was actually placed on a cutout. Good & creative.

The oval works for a diptych...but more in a commercial appeal kind of way. Like some of the others have suggested, a food magazine or similar.

amazing ... your food shots are incredible ..
now i've got to go and buy some strawberries .. lol ..!!
did you take a photograph of the single strawberry on a white background and then create the oval around it and bring it into the photograph of the strawberries out'v focus .. or did you select the strawberry from a group, put it on a white background and create the shadow .. ??
spose the first way would be a heap easier and a lot quicker .. !!!! ..:)
