This would look at home on the wall at an exhibition. It's fantastic Judy! |

"On these rich days
of too much heat and too much light
the steady hum of my fan
reminds me of Asian summers
when I was a child and lived in
a high-ceilinged, white-washed house."
- from The Electric Fan, by Victoria Brush.
The movement of the fan elevates the other objects into spoor; evidence of passage. Not a still life, but a stilled life. |

This works nicely because the colors match so well across the panels. |

Nice job. I don't have much experience with filters and overlays -- they really do pull the images together, though in this case, the group nicely by subject, too. |

This has a blend of vintage and contemporary that play off of each other very well. The blur from the oscillating fan really grabs me. Nicely done Judy! |

The tones are just great! I love how you've made just a bunch of 'stuff' look so chic. I especially love the panel with the cords and wall plug, though I can't tell you why :-) Wonderful in every way! |

Perfect placement of the objects - my favorite, believe it or not, is the cord in the center. Excellent balance of the colors, too. |

brilliant judy .. this would look excellent in your house hanging on a wall ..
normal and supposedly boring objects converted into something so excellent ..
i'd say that better but i'm being interrupted, that's three times since i started writing this ..
and now four since i wrote that i was being interrupted ..
its like the comparison .. oh .. interrupted again ..
the comparison between wot we see everyday and then seeing them transformed into such a wonderful work of art .. but being able to see them in their ordinaryness and after the transformation .. all at the same time .. :) |

It would be nice to see some original thumbs... I'm curious about your processing. Cool and dark but pushing the highlights too. I tend to like high contrast and grunge so this is right up my alley. |

Cool combo and processing. I wish I could get up and down that easily. If I did these shots, they would be all dust bunnies. |
