 Taken late in the day, these are a small section of a herd of mares and foals.
usm, brightness/contrast, variations more blue to tone down the orangey cast, lighter, crop, border, resize, stw.

I love the tones, a very nice capture.
I think the comp could be improved by a different crop...
give them just a bit more room at top left to lead your eye out of the frame.
They are all so sweet.

The composition gives a bit the impression of a missed opportunity, as the horses seem to hide and walk away from the camera. If your intention was to show the beginning of a trip, it would be cool to see in which direction they are leaving.
