Shot this in a dark corner of my bedroom. The book pages just started to flutter on their own and I caught it only a couple of times. I had been doing some other set-ups for hours and liked this the best. It has a bit of a dungeon feel that I like.
OK, there is a fan high up on the ceiling.

You 'finding it a bit of a stretch' without an explanation is not knowing the Bible. The understanding of it has nothing to do with imagination. It is quite simple, once you know....you got it! - the Word.
So your comment, yet again as it comes from some photographers on this Site, is deeply rooted in the personal and emotional rather than objective and professional.

Hmm..I suppose some readers don't know the Bible. In the beginning there was The Word. The earth was created out of void and darkness, and this looked a bit like a void or deep dungeon to me. The light and the bare tree branch is the representation of what's to come - the cross, sacrifice and redemption. But all in all it represents beauty in the midst of darkness and hardship. Tough audience this time. Gee.

I find my attention split between the two elements in your image, and that doesn't help with conveying your intention

I get it that the book is near the beginning but I don̢۪t know what the rest of the photo has to do with the subject. Is the vegetation in the top right corner there for a reason? Overall this image doesn̢۪t leave a lasting impression on me. 4
