funny .. we saw pics of this animal on tv the other night ... the world's largest rodent .. !!
in south america ..
when i read about it being a jedusi i thought .. wotha?!!.. i couldnt remember wot the animal was called and i thought how funny that steve would call himself after a rodent ... i googled it and just found comments of steve's in dpc and other stuff .. then i noticed his shot from 10 minutes before ... lol LOL .. this has been a very funny 5 mins .. and obviously i was wrong about steve calling himself after a rodent .. !!!
the program was saying that the capybaras are kept on farms and used for meat .. poor little guys .. :)

ps ... thankyou for your comment on the katees ... whos vying for my crown .. !? .. lol ..!

A Jedusi? Well I never....

This is great - certainly bringing me something new - expanding my world view and all! It would be cool to have something in the frame to give an idea of scale ( I'm not quite sure I trust Jedusi's version...). How fast can these things move? This one looks so fat that I'm sure it can't do more than waddle - I fear they may make rather attractive and easy meals for birds of prey.

Capybara! You have them wild? Cool! We have them here at the zoo. I love the dumb look on their faces! He's a fat one! Great capture with wonderful detail in the fur!

World's largest animal huh? I wonder what those grey things with wrinkly trunks are. I think that capybaras are actually the world's largest rodents. Great capture. You could hardly call him cute, but I think you have captured his personality. After all, something related to a guinea pig must be loaded with it. Lol.

Is that without any blur-added-edit? I only ask because I want to know if the lens created the sharp-detail-fg/no-detail-bg that I see here. But it looks like an edit to me.
