I thought I would have a go at changing my toning for this shot as I've never used Sepia on my camera before, I've always changed it on the computer.
When I think of railway tracks I think of the olden days, so I thought Sepia was a good choice of style.
I was pretty pleased with the outcome and might try shooting more with this setting in the future.

Great shot, and the sepia just adds to it, and the only title you could possibly have used 9

If shot at a lower angle it would dramatize the end rails.

Fantastic contrast and detail combined with a keen eye for composition have made for an exceptionally creative and at the same time visually pleasing image representing a theme as old as time itself. Bold lines against a stark and weathered background with plenty of contrast. One can almost still hear the old railway wagons and locomotives thundering along the track bringing the first pioneers into the unknown wilderness not knowing what to expect. For many it was indeed the end of the line when personal hopes and dreams were not fulfilled and dreams of a promised land were shattered.

LOL. Definitely the End. Great lines and textures; lighting could have benefited from some contrast.

Love the idea, but I think it'd be more powerful either in b&w or with more contrast.
