The lighting just makes this shot, and you're really done this justice with the editing. |

OhmyGOSH, Lisa! This is absolutely a-MAZING! How in the WORLD did you get such crisp focus in such low light. Ok. I notice you used your 50mm. Note to self: "Get the 50mm out and practice with it more!" I haven't used it much because I haven't been able to get enough depth of field to keep even my whole subject in focus. But I would use it exclusively if I could turn out a photo like this.
WOW! |

Very nice! It hard to get moody and glowy at the same time. |

Oh gosh!!! I missed this one, Lisa. This is gorgeous. The composition - fab. I really like the mix of the lines of the wharf and then that bird as he nearly flies out of the shot. Cool greens too. :~) |

Very dramatic, nice lighting. Just to nitpick, there should be more space on the left side as the bird is flying in that direction. |

Very moody and dramatic, with the ascending gull positively glowing like an angel. |

This is gorgeous - caught my eye from the thumb and really nice when it opens up. Love the tones, the dark, the lines, the detail. Lovely shot, my dear! |

Very nice. The processing works quite well for this shot. Would be nice if you described in the comments what you did. |
