| Colleen this is so fascinating! I love that bright path leading into the forest. And the shadows coming from the sticks or icicles is a special gift of the scene. Beautiful! |

| Fantastic shot. This should have scored much higher than it did. The soft colors really make this image but I think the biggest thing is that the sky is not blown out or just flat gray. Supurb. |

| What a cool find! OK, cold, but you get the idea. I like the way the light and contrast pull you into the forest - nice work with that. Lovely hoarfrost kind of morning, it seems. Hopefully this was taken within stepping distance of a warm, toasty vehicle, too. :-) |

| A true study of light... I consider photographing snow one of the hardest subjects to get right light-wise. This one is just perfect. And pleasing to the eye, on top of it. Good luck! |

| The "obelisks" are lost in a lot of other busyness in the image, I really like the tone and color of the image, but sense that it needs a focal point. |
