This is my preferred version of my entry for Personality. My wife liked the color, but I like the pure energy of this version without the distraction of color. Just my two bits...but notice I listened to my wife! ;)

I really like your composition and especially the B&W conversion. You've captured quite the smile there, it just seems so natural.

Great. I prefer the b&w. 'Too cute' is in some way what this is, but there's a huge force of childish innocence and honesty that just blows all that away.
Or maybe that's BS, but it wins me over :)

Oh, WOW another great POV for the kids photography. Great example of B&W photography strenght. The color original version is no where close to the B&W here.

Oh this is priceless! Such a sweet expression, and her pose is priceless. Looks like it might have been difficult light - the left side of her face is quite bright - but you managed it beautifully. Really nice.

A really great shot that does work well in B&W. Hope you frame it, because her personality really does shine.

Awww...too cute. The spots on the dress really make this image.

Your wife is, of course, right regardless, but I really do like this in B&W, much for the reason you mentioned. Her smile, her personality really shines through in this version.

This is a very nice version, the dress works wonderfully for the B&W.

PAW - The subject is definitely the face. Very well shot, framed and lighted. Good angle, DOF, catching a fleeting expression. I like the B&W processing. I rarely do B&W but may have to give it a try some more.

I like the b&w too. It's pure and simple, more the essence of what's going on in the shot, and not bogged down with stuff things that aren't relevant.
