I picked the colors as the opposites and and not mother/daughter,
liked the layout with 3rds and the curve of the road leading forward
nice and clear
they seem to be happy together
I gave it 8 |

So different that they are the same. Good photo, well composed, well lighted. By personal preference, I'd like it better if they were coming towards the viewer so we could see their faces also. But that's just me. 9 |

Great use of that leading line. It adds a lot of depth to your composition. I also like it the puth their feet forward, gives some feeling of motion.
I had to look for the opposite in this photo, but after some time found out that I overlooked it (the clothes, I was thinking too much on a mind & gene level). ;)
Good work.

I'm not sure daughter is the opposite of mother.
Nice idea though. |

Love the outfits. Cute shot. Very well framed and executed. A meaningful shot in its own right. |

Nice shot. It seems that you set it up because the daughter has top-blue and bottom-red, and the mom has the opposite. A double meaning, Nice! |

Good idea for this challenge: opposite dress, opposite feet, grown-up and young. It has a bit of a stagey feel to it, but not overly so. As a portrait of sorts it might be nice to see a bit more of one or both of their faces. Overall, very nice. Good composition and line. Great color and spirit. |

Pretty shot, but I don't really see them as opposites. Great composition, lighting, and framing. |

Good job. One could have been on each side of the white line. |

Nice photo, but I'm just not feeling the opposites effect. Good job though! |
