Taken in a drizzling freezing rain. The greys in the image accurately reflect the dreary day. I used 3 images to create HDR and tweaked up non-grey color elements slightly. Otherwise, it's totally grey and miserable.
Unfortunately, I suspect tweaking RYGB, makes the grey look unrealistic.
I also suspect that the original image would not be well received because it was "too grey".
This is what we call a "lose-lose" situation.
Then, several days later, I went back and re-reviewed each of the 3 original shots and decided to try to accomplish with one image that I had previously accomplished with 3. And I did so.
Then, several more days later, I determined that my processing choices were irrelevant. Nobody really cares. I'm deluding myself. My masturbatory photography and commenting techniques work for me. I get pleasure from the effort. Whether anyone else does, or does not, is irrelevant.
The next day, I deleted everything you've just read above that followed the "lose-lose" quote.
Today, I restored what I had previously deleted.
