| I love the light in this. But in addition to that, you also have most artfully arranged your subject and I don't think a lot of people realize just how hard that is to do! Wonderful work - congrats on the ribbon and high score! |

Sunflowers and Pears! Both of my favorite still life subjects, and you got them in one shot ;) Beautiful capture. Excellent job with the lighting. Has a lovely soft feel to it, yet it is sharp. Great work. Very refreshing seeing a still life like this ribbon. +fave

| I don't care for still life photographs, but if you are going to keep doing this I'll have to reconsider my position. It's astoundingly lovely. I can't believe that I have spent at least 5 minutes just slowly savoring all the lovingly-rendered details here, but I have. Interesting soft feel, a nice contrast to some of the over-sharpened images here. I think I would have liked to have seen a touch more contrast between the petals and the centres of the sunflowers - but perhaps that would throw the whole image off.
