hmmm! I think I shoulda checked out silence I before I submitted... seems my tape over the mouth idea wasn't as original as I though. LoL! :D

just saw this nick ..
i cant believe the crummy score you got on this amazing shot ..
it really is totally out'v the box ... i love the wottha i get when i look at that taped mouth and the earphones .. the taped mouth makes me think of all sorts of things .. i wont mention them here .. !!!
but this is so gritty and inspired .. its a big WOW i reckon ..
i still cant believe that score .. thats another wottha .. !!! or really a WTF .. ??!!!!!!!!!

WAY under rated imho! It looks like you got judged based on how many people had similar ideas rather than how well you created and executed this version (in a half hour lol).

This was one of my favourites in the challenge, none of my other favourites scored above six either! I guess I was a little out of sync with the masses when it comes to my view on silence!! Great idea and well executed, well done

So many "tape over the mouth" images in this challenge. I have lost count.At least you have added the headset which ads some sensory deprivation to the image and conveys some feeling of silence. Also the shot is technically well executed and composed therefore I give it a 6 instead of the 3's I have been handing out to the other "Tape" shots. 6

This is my favorite concept using the taped mouth motif, particularly since you cut off incoming sound for your subject too. The negative space really underscores the silence.

Really nice portrait. I like the composition & the emotion conveyed by the models face is amazing. Nice work (I'm sure this photo will do well)

lots of images like this in the challenge (tape over mouth) but the addition of the headphones and the composition and processing make this stand out above the rest (that I have seen so far). great shot that hopefully will do well.. good work.
