2 days into voting I'm happy to be in 6.xxxx territory, but I'm frustrated that it might have been even better if I hadn't been rushed when I submitted & forgot to sharpen it before posting :(

Here's the sharpened version & I'm really kicking myself over this:


Hey, didn't expect to see this in the top 10 this morning. I'm still kicking myself for forgetting to sharpen, but I'll just chalk it up as another DPC lesson.

I agree that a darker background might have worked better to bring out the drops, although I think the lack of sharpening had something to do with the drops getting lost also.

I always like these shots, but I really don't think the white background does much for this photograph. Perhaps a darker color could really make those water droplets pop.
