Too out of focus. Try getting closer to the ground and get the treetops also. |

It sure does and that's why it's best to dress up nice and warm when you venture outside in weather like that. Your image does convey a feeling of silence but what detracts here is that everything is blurred and out of focus. 5 |

good: i can completely agree that cold places with snow give me a sense of silence. i like square crops myself. the reflection also give way to the reflection you do (verb) in a moment of silence. black and white also works well with snow and ice.
bad: ok this is just too dang blurry to me. |

I really like the idea, but this is much to blurry/grainy... you could turn up the contrast a bit, as well... |

This is a good concept and I like the reflection of the trees on the frozen pond/lake but the photo looks a little out of focus to me. |

I can't seem to find the point of focus of this image. I feel there is too much foreground and the trees are then cropped out |
