Tried to think of what could be the most silent thing that I could convey. Wanted to present a world without people, and what else conveys silence than an empty playground...

I love the image of the horse. Just wish you could have got it from an angle where the bench was less intrusive.

You've got a nice feel to this and it certainly captures the challenge well but I'm slightly unhappy with the way the dark wall in the background runs into the horses head.

There is certainly a feeling off silence being conveyed here and the title is nice too. You might have improved the shot by having photographed from a different angle and not having placed the horse slapbang in the centre. 5

I like the images that have attempted to convey the sense of silence - not by what is included in the image but by what is excluded. I think this image does this really well. A tighter crop - with just the horse and the seat might also have been as effective. Well done.

Very nice idea. Two suggestions: the bench in the background being directly above the horse is disconcerting. A different angle that moves it to the right or left would help.

Also, I think it's a tad dark. I'd play with the levels a little and lighten the highlights. It's not that important to have the details in the snow, and you wouldn't lose anything from the horse.

great idea!

too centered? a square crop might have worked better.

I wish the pony could have been more isolated. The bench, path, and black patch above it are just too distracting.

I really like the composition of this photo and the selective colouring of the horse really draws the eye.

If this was slightly off-center...I think it would be more dramatic...but cool perspective
