Wow 5th place! Nice work! Congrats on reaching another goal this year!
I think you found the prefect tree for this challenge, along with the prefect timing to create the most dramatic effect with the clouds.
The composition of this photo is great. I think it is so interesting that all of these top photos have similar composition. I love that the eye is just drawn into the tree.
Just an excellent job, keep up the great work!

| i love the lighting here! the clouds are beautiful, and the silhouette of the tree is just beautiful. interesting texture in the grass, i love the grass coming up from the hillside |

| Stunning colours and just a great composition!. A beautiful subject - it's surprisingly tricky to find a strong subject for a 'single tree' that is away from any others. Exactly what this challenge asked for : 10. |
