 This was taken on New Years Day near Central Park in Granada, Nicaragua.

A parade of hundreds of people had just entered the cathedral for a New Years Day mass. The celebration outside was pretty spectacular to witness.

This is an HDR of 3 exposures.
Some cloning was done just to clean up the edges of the cross and cathedral.
Neat Image was applied due to the high ISO.
Curves on the cross and cathedral.
Sharpening, resize, Sharpen again. Save for Web.

I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out. A great memory of a great trip.

Good composition...the steeple and cross point towards the heavens. Nice color tone as well.

I love the unusual composition and the extreme low angle in this. The trees in the background are great and the moon is a great visual detail. I feel that this would be stronger if it were just a little brighter.
