Easily should have been top ten, in my opinion. This would make a gorgeous print. |

Love this scene. I wouldn't have thought of shooting the tree with the barn behind it. I probably would have tried to get the tree against the sky. That's why you're the artist and I'm the photo hobbyist. BTW, Larry loves this shot too. |

Terry, I love this shot. The red is awesome. And I agree with Melethia's assessment, it does look like the tree is the ultimate protector.
I hit you with a 10, and I think this beauty has been severely underrated. |

Terry, the barn in the background is great. I'm surprised this didn't score higher than it did. |

I admired this the 1st time and have come back to it..
It's one of the best!! Well seen and taken.. This is a typical scene where i live. It's taken on a snowy day the red barn sets the tree off..
I simply love it.. |

I liked this very much, but even though the tree was the focus of the challenge, I still didn't care for it centered. I would have liked it much better off a little to the left. |

I really like your choice to put the tree in context. Almost as though this is the guardian of the farm. Not a big tree, but he's spread his branches out to encompass and protect the place. And dang, it looks cold! |

Not sure you should have put the tree directly in front of the buildings. |

I think I would have preferred this at a different angle. Maybe with the barn to the right or left of the tree, instead of directly behind it. |

Peaceful scene! IMHO if you would have stood a little more to your left and use the "farm" background fully it would fee more balanced then having the open area on the left. |

really lovely beautiful shot, but I dont think it fits well with the theme. I know the tree is in the foreground, but since the barn is so in focus, I cant even say which is the true subject of this photo. |

I really, really like this. Love the muted colours of the barn and all the white snow around. |

The tree is nice and sharp. I really like the glow from the snow. I wonder how this would have benefited from a slightly shallower depth of field. I like it. |
