GREAT statement! It actually takes a moment's thought, and I love that in an artistic rendering! While there does appear to be just a bit of noise, and possibly a little lens dust involved, it doesn't significantly detract from the shot. Also, I'm noticing a fair bit of moire in the background, but I'm willing to lay odds that's simply a matter of downsampling for submission -- it probably doesn't appear in the original. All in all, I'm very fond of this one! |

perhaps not opposite objects exactly but a well executed realization of the challenge. nicely done. |

interesting photo, but different isn't really opposite. |

Actually depending on the width, a regular screwdricer can be used on a phllips head. It is a well executed shot, but its not diametrically opposed, at least IMO - 6 |

I see where you are going/where you are coming from with this one. It's a great picture; love the background, the composition, and the framing. I don't really consider a screwdriver and a screw as opposites, although the blade edge and the phillips screw head might be considered as such. Since I'm not sure, I won't figure that into my rating. It's a great shot anyway. :o) |

Excellnt diagonal composition. I like the lighting with one small caveat: there should be a bit more light on the screw's head. Over all it's one of the strongest entries. To me, the border is a bit heavy - but that's not a point off or anything. |

the background stands out too much from the subjects. |

I don't think they're opposites, I think they "go together". Nice photo though. |

Great idea! Looks good all around. Normally I'm not a fan of borders, but i think it works here (+1). 7 |

Great picture. Just can't see the head of the screw enough. |

black has nothing to do with white, thats why they're opposites... now a screwdriver screws screws, and its hard to have one without the other. they have complicity, not opposition.
nice shot anyways, good colours and sharpness. |

Nice composition, the border dominates a little too much and I think I could use a little more contrast or sharpness on the phillips head screw ... I like the variations in the background. |
