Shot this indoors from my hotel, with a table lamp. The picture is intended to portray a thought. The paper, pen and glasses symbolize a writer, and the soft sepia tones, the glow over them evoke the feeling of deep thought by the author. Kinda philosophical...but that was my take on it.

PP: Softening, sepia.

I like the antique feel to the picture but the boring pen and pad takes away from it. Still over all a nice looking picture. Looks like you entered the challenge from a hotel room... haven't we all done that at least once? :)

nothing seems to be in focus.........slightly sharper would've given good depth and dimension....but its a nice retro feel captured!reminiscential.....love the reflection on the base.....good job!.....

Would have played better if the accessories were less modern. Nice vignette and sepia tone but they do not go well with the motel pen and pad.

I like this picture i just think that it's a little to musky and it also seems a little blurred from the effect you were trying to make

The strong sepia screams "antique", but that scream is in conflict with the modern plastic pen. Otherwise, it works well, but that conflict of subject and treatment jumped out at me.
