 On a very picturesque early morning (a lovely combination of fog, frost and sunshine), I had a hellish time trying to find a single, isolated tree, let alone one that wasn't covered in power lines or hidden by buildings.

Converted from RAW, cropped and straightened, color temp lowered very slightly, cloned out a small power pole in the distance, resized, sharpened, saved for web.

I gave this an 8 as I thought it was an outstanding tree shot in hard circumstances. This is a gorgeous shot and you should make it a Print

Really nicely seen and rendered, Beetle. One of my 8's. I particularly applaud your willingess to let the bright part of the sky blow out; it seems very real to me.
