 Taken when Clarence was about 6 weeks old, and I'd had him only two days. The lighting on his face was natural.

Cloned out some bits of string and the "exit" hole on the other side of the bed.

Adjusted contrast, black point, highlight/shadow, curves, channel mixer.

The light on this is just perfect! What an adorable little guy. This is definitely a keeper (both the kitten and the photograph!)

I actually like the contrast of the leopard spots with subject- I think it makes the picture so unusual.

Awww, now how can a cute kitty in a leopard skin bed not tug at your heart. Very well done and looks great in B&W. You did really good with lighting.

Some elements of this photo I like are the blackness in the upper portion of the 'cave' and that faint light on the left side of his face; also the catchlights, and also the curve of his bright whiskers following the contour of his box. In other words, I like this a lot.

PAW - Clarence is really cute. He probably imagines himself as a leopard in that bed. I like the framing of the box and how the front if the face is highlighted. it looks like something to the left of the camera had Clarence's attention.
