 Self portrait with my $20 reading glasses

One flash from the right angled up 45 degrees with index card above. And one flash handheld over my head on my left side.

I was going to set up the external flashes for a shot of my wife and was just testing the lights with my left hand pushing the remote shutter release. My wife saw this picture in my raw folder and talked me into entering it in the challenge. Talk about serendipity! :)

I didn't find any rules for the POW so I hope it was OK to use this for week 4.

Very good portrait! Excellent work with the lights, great clarity and sharpness. Hint - men look good this sharp, women not so much (we prefer just a little less detail, thanks!). I wanna know how you held both flashes and got yourself in such good focus AND hit the shutter, all at the same time. Having tried SPs awhile back, I never really could get myself in focus very well.

PAW - Excellent picture. Funny reading the notes it looks very intentional and posed, but it was just a test shot. Nice color in the irises and very good crop, if it is cropped. I wish you could have softened the glasses shadows some. It's good to see what you look like. you don't look like a troll at all. ;-)

Nicely lit and shot. Congrats on the top 20 in the challenge. Watch out for the sharpening around the eyes and glasses, maybe a little too strong.
