My 9 year old granddaughter, Brooke, struck this pose spontaneously as I stalked her and her twin sister around the yard. It seems to sum her up - sweet but a bit of a tomboy, can-do, happy-go-lucky and outgoing.

Look at that! Excellent grainy B&W - just the way it grips my attention:-) Love the lighting, the disheveled hair, her expressions - so natural. I would have tried to do this without the border.. I don't think this beautiful image needs any borders:-)

| I would have voted this a 10 but it seems a tad too grainy to me. Some of the other entry's in this challenge have seemed grainy too but the noise worked in them because they were photos of grumpy old men. This little girl, I think, should look smooth. Without knowing the details of the photo, I'm guessing the lighting was low and ISO set too high???? Anyway, I'm still going fairly high with an 8. |
