 I did a couple of shots of my wife - this was her first choice of pose, right off the bat.

The Edit - cloned out a couple of bright areas and a spurious shadow in Aperture 2, round-tripped it to PS CS4 for Neat Image and Smart Sharpen; back to Aperture 2 for cropping and Monochrome Mixer - I selected a red filter.

I then finished it off in Preview with some slight sepia, colour temperature and contrast tweaks.

I used the monochrome mixer in Aperture 2 with a red software filter - this made her lips paler, which I think is the element that makes the image succeed.

I really like the grain it brought out.

The final PP steps was done in Preview where I sharpened a little and added a sepia tint and a bit of magenta.

Comment during voting:

Most people have pulled me up on the grain - I really liked it! It was an active choice to keep it. Though some people may assume that this is due to the 3200 ISO - it isn't, the culprit here is the red filter applied in the monochrome mixer.
