Thanks to everyone that commented, I was able to pick out some useful statements from all of them. The challenge was an experience, as it was the first time that I'd set out on a project. I've got into a habit lately of trying to get it right in camera, which has steered me away from cropping, plus I probably wasn't as familiar with what I was allowed to do as I could have been. Sharpening is also something I've tended to avoid, especially when I've pushed the contrast to the limit as I have here. It wouild have been nice to have teh odd cloud to play with, but the weather wasn't as accomodating as I'd have liked, but at least it wasn't solid, dull grey cloud like it had been an hour earlier.

More contrast and some more sharpening could give your image more pop. |

Nice shot, think it would have helped if the main subject (the building) was a little more off centre. Also, you're not using the full available tonal range here, a curves / contrast adjustment could have helped liven this up a lot. |

I like this, It might be better with a tighter crop on the bottom |
