 A take off on Ansel Adams composition called "Frozen Lake and Cliffs," I decided to seek out frozen cliffs instead. I saw these ice encrusted brownstone cliffs and was absolutely awed by their size and beauty. I love this shot. Whether it tanks or not doesn't matter. I liked it and hope that if Ansel Adams were alive he would feel it was worth taking as a black and white.

Amazing phenomenon! I like the detail of the ice on either side of the main fall better than the fall itself.
