I like the black and white conversion here. I think the rigidity of the frame fights with the fluidity of the stairs and works hard to compress the image. I wish the DOF was a little greater, even at the risk of introducing a little grain.

Excellently composed! The horizontal lines draw you through the image while the stairs guide your eyes across the composition.
