Hey, I just saw this; love the John Muir quote. Lovely, understated processing. Very nice finish in this challenge. |

I know that feeling and what a fantastic view :O I love the glacier and the colour of the lake below. The red's are slightly over saturated on my monitor, but that's easily dealt with, Beautiful :):) |

Wow - that is an amazing scene . . the figure in the foreground is almost redundant with that magnificent background! |

I like the mood that this shot creates and it has a 3-D feel to it because of the texture contrasts! 9. |

Wow! I must go too! It's all I can do to function in real life because of my longing to ALWAYS be in the mountains. This doesn't help. I think you are trying to hurt me, aren't you :) But WOW! And you nailed my special hot button as far as LOVING perspective photos. |

7 - Pretty awesome scene.. really like how you've captured the 'far ends' and the shadows and light play around there. I like this image also without the 'watcher' - but another image. I don't know if it is just a visual perspective thing, but the ridges in the mountains seem tilted. The only other nit pick, is the fore left green - does add further scale and perspective (not the same as I just mentioned), but perhaps more or none shown, if you had it of course - but your call, obviously. Hope all that makes sense. Like your title too. |

the sweep of the valley, the softness of the light, the placement of the person - nice work - i am just unsure of the apparent highly saturated trees and rock in the foreground |

beautiful view! the guy on the rock gives a nice juxtaposition. looks like that glacier has seen better times in its life...
i find the processing to be a bit too hdr'ish but it's within the limits of not looking overdone. the dark green patch of grass at the left keeps distracting my eyes a bit in a strange way. still a great shot! overall 7 |
