I think the lighting and background work well here but there is too much competing with subject for attention on the right. |

This lacks an interesting subject for me... If the subject is the flower, it should be closer in, I think. |

Lovely lighting and color, almost a great photo. First, dark is risky - you are likely to lose a point from "poor voter monitor calibration syndrome". Second, I think there is too much "other stuff" in the picture which a tighter crop could eliminate. If I just see the flower reaching sideways and the rocks under water, then the image is stunning. |

I wish the crop were a bit different. I think the flower against the harsh ground would be more emphasized if it were a bit closer and with more detail. But my ideas are usually off :) |

Nothing interesting here, just shrubs and weeds with a small flower that is inpossible to distinguish from your angle. |

the light on the flower is very cool and i like how the stream around it is illuminated - but there seems to be almost too much 'border' - i think a crop down to accentuate the flower might give the shot more punch |
