| I gave this an 8. Loved the clarity and colors. 'If only' a little more texture/depth/feel, but difficult and minor. |

Carl was always known as one that was a bit strange. He never seem to fit in, danced to the beat of a different drummer, played with a different deck of cards.
So when they passed him and saw what he was doing with that empty husk of moulting, well, not too many of them were very surprised. They shook their heads and flew on. Poor Carl. |

| excellent details in the insect - it may have been natural super shallow DOF but it almost appears that some of the image was unnaturally blurred giving edges an odd look |

| A beautifully focused image and I love the way the background reflects the change in the insect - a subtle part of the story, well done :) |
