 I don’t usually enter the “Best of Challenges” because I hate to see an image that means so much to me get slaughtered in the voting but this year I don’t care nothing anyone says or how they vote for this image will effect what this image means to me.

This shot represents the beautiful people I met in Vietnam and my love for South East Asia and its diverse culture and natural beauty. It was taken on my second day in Vietnam at a place called Ninh Binh Northern Vietnam.

The title is just my take on how this man appears to me he simply could not be happier with his life even without the mod cons that we Westerners are use to. Although you can’t see it he is actually rowing a small boat on the water full of tourist and he still managed to smile and wave to me as he went by.

I love this image so much I have it as my phone screen saver so I can see it everyday.

My prediction: 5.2

the colors are great and the composition is good. The expression is priceless. I see the marks of neat image or some other smoother, which detracts, but I suspect you didn't have a choice.

I like the composition and the subject, but the noise is really bad on my monitor. His face should be sharp, I think.
