 Taken in my kitchen with a single lamp. I played around with the position of the lamp to see if I could generate some interesting shadows.

Post editing: I had a bit of a colour cast that I tried to remove, and bumped up the contrast a bit. sharpened the image ever so slightly.

I'm disappointed with how this turned out. I really wanted to emphasize the flaws in the glasses to show how damaged they were, but I couldn't really figure out how to emphasize the flaws in them and still get the magnification of the words "very bad day" at the same time.

Don't know if it was physically possible, but I would have liked for "very bad day" to have been fully visible. Also, at first I was distracted by the smudged lenses, until I decided it fit the theme nicely. :) Overall, very nice shot.

I like the choice of words you decided to highlight with the lens. Is it these glasses that have seen better days, or your eyes?

I love the No Good Very Bad Day story book. One of my kids favorites! It looks like the lenses on the glasses are dirty and should have been cleaned first. Would like to see a little more contrast in the page so that it wasn't so gray. Maybe a black border instead of pink???
