Great shot. Captures the essence of cooking without having to actually photograph the cooking part - very clever. My only nitpick would be the blue nail polish, but I guess you're getting a lot of those comments :)

Very good photo, but the nails do not do it for me. The color is going to b an issue. A neutral color would have had everybody concentrating on the otherwise excellent photo.

The first thing that grabbed me was the blue fingernail polish. One of the points of Stock Photography is to have the maximum possible buying scope. You might lose the more conservative crowd with the nail color choice.

Don't get me wrong, I think the idea is a good one and your execution is well done. I think you may have been a little slow on the shutter speed (the salt seems a little too streaky and looks more like powdered sugar), but the composition and lighting are very nice.
