Old flour mill in downtown Greenville, TX. I have seen it from the roadways around town all my life, but I have never gone anywhere near it. It definitely is nothing I have ever shot before! Today, my family and I drove right into the main entrance and walked around. It was creepy and spectacular at the same time. I hope you enjoy looking at this picture as much as I did taking it.

Cropped, adjusted levels, desaturated, adjusted levels again, resized, changed mind, made sepia.

I really like the compostion here. The light is also very pleasing. Letting the structure dominate the image really gives it a sense of size. Almost like it is towering over my head. I like the choice of tone for the image as well. Nice image.

The toning is good and ages it well to go with the title. The textures of the silos with the peeling paint is also great and adds to the whole mood of the shot. I like the perspective, it makes them towering and intimidating, which is what I usually feel when I see these huge constructs. It certainly looks like it has a few stories to tell.

Great composition, lighting, and use of duotone, but the lovely texture of the old surfaces is lost in the compression artifacts. Looks like the file is 68k, remember you just have to get it under 150k. You are *much* better off in the 80-95% quality JPEG compression range, this looks closer to 50%.

Great perspective! Sepia works very well in this image. Well cropped. I do see evidence of compression but not enough where it's overbearing. 8.
