| Not a very attractive soup - just messy. And the photo doesn't enhance it much. Lighting is a bit harsh, and focus isn't very crisp. |

| if the towel/place mat were under the plate with the bowl on top...maybe.. |

| Taking this shot at a little bit lower angle would improve it a lot. Instead of staring down into the bowl right in front of you, an increased angle would make it seem a bit further away and that would add a bit of anticipation to the mood. |
