Now this is great....an unusual angle and yet a fantastic result.

Very nice and you managed to get almost the full range of the grayscale in the shot. Great idea with the unusual angle.

This is the perfect capture of a very young child playing, as can be seen by the sand on leg and where the left arm moved in the sand. Taken from above this could be anybody's child, and that brings back memories for me.

I really like the view from above; it helps show him as "insignificant" against all that sand!

What a beautiful perspective and composition. To say such a young child around so much sad, what a contrast of ideas. Beautiful, and I love the conversion.

Nice B&W, wonderful patterns and a nice POV. Sometimes, like here, it's great to see not a face. It gives this photo something special.

I love overhead shots! He looks like he is having a great time. Is he wearing a tux?

Really great perspective. And processing, too. It's going to be fun to see what you do this year.

Wonderful composition with the overhead view. Complemented nicely with the entry from the Sand challenge. One more and you have a lovely triptych to print, frame and hang. The tones are excellent.

Darn I was on pins-and-needles for the 50mm shotz! This is great Ben. The low lighting really emphasizes the shadows in the sand. Beautiful composition, a real winner of a shot.
