 All he could think about was I'm too young for this.
Got my whole life ahead.
Hell I'm just a kid myself.
How'm I gonna raise one.

All he could see were his dreams goin' up in smoke.
So much for ditchin' this town and hangin' out on the coast.
Oh well, those plans are long gone.

[Chorus:]
And he said,
There goes my life.
There goes my future, my everything.
Might as well kiss it all good-bye.
There goes my life.......

A couple years of up all night and a few thousand diapers later.
That mistake he thought he made covers up the refrigerator.
Oh yeah..........he loves that little girl.

Momma's waiting to tuck her in,
As she fumbles up those stairs.
She smiles back at him dragging that teddy bear.
Sleep tight, blue eyes and bouncin' curls.

[Chorus:]
He smiles.....
There goes my life.

I love you, daddy good-night.

She had that Honda loaded down.
With Abercrombie clothes and 15 pairs of shoes and his American Express.
He checked the oil and slammed the hood, said your good to go.
She hugged them both and headed off to the West Coast.

Your children photos always capture my attention. You have a great ability to throw emotion and meaning into these portraits. I never even saw the title. Just a beautiful photo. :)

I had to look a couple of times. I thought the photo was trying to say that the little girl thought her costume was her life, future and everything. I get it now: it's your daughter and she is your life, future and everything! Duh...what is wrong with me! Anyway, wow, do they make that costume in adult size? That would be hilarious! Your photo has very good focus and I like the contrast of the blues and browns.

Serious title but the elephant towel doesn't look the part ;-) Although it is darned cute; I need to invest in something like that when I have grandkids! Nice, even lighting and I love her little ringlets and innocent expression.

This is such a funny picture! She is so serene, and her ensemble so redonk! Her face is perfect but the elephant, for some reason, looks a bit washed out. Maybe it IS washed out LOL!
