 This is Adam, my son. We took him out in the snow today for the first time - he absolutely loved it - so much that he cried his eyes out when we brought him in.

The editing on this is simple - 2 "exposures" masked together - I also did some dodging and burning around his eyes - I hope it wasn't too over the top. Other than that I wanted to bring out the parka hood because I liked the way it looked against the white background. I used a little noise ninja and a splash of lucas arts filter. Desaturated everything a little except his face - I also added some more rosey to those cheeks.

I had no idea what I wanted to shoot for this challenge. I was thinking of doing something with the snow and maybe a flower popping out (fake flower - how great would that be in a "life" challenge) I also had an idea of shooting some sort of root system on a light table. This was alot easier and it will look great framed on the wall.

This will probably fetch at least 5.5, but my dream would be 6+. I don't care what it gets because I LOVE this picture.

I am SO disappointed that this didn't score better... It's a top-notch image to me. SO FULL of life.

I thought this was a great idea because to me, this kind of stuff is what life is really about. I love seeing how bundled up he is. He's beautiful!

The color in his face seems slightly washed-out but over-all the rest seems normal to me. Cute kid - are ya'll done with the snow yet? It's been nearly 70 degrees at my house. Stay warm!
