 Here we are, my first submission of 2009 so of course, it had to be with the lensbaby, a shot for Deb ([user]Melethia[/user]) cos I know she likes pigeons.

I love that look! And you know, it really does fit the challenge nicely. Life is a blur, except for the rare moment of clarity, be you a man or a pigeon, and it always helps if you glance at it slightly askew. 'Tis a fine shot! (Comment only.)

Not voting on this but wanted to ask what happened to the great colours?! At least one version that I saw had great sandy colour to the buildings in the background that sort of lit up the image but I dont see that here...sorry :o(

Nice bokeh and blurring..... good focus on the pigeon.

I would have cropped more off the right. There is so much blur going on there, that a good cm or so would not have effected the composition.
