Sometimes, ya just get lucky.
this is my 12-year old named "Sweetie"
She has arthritis and does little more than
eat, sleep and purr.

Crop, Sharpen, Flip, Submit.

Note, 1/13/09: I was going for 'mood' not for 'sharp'.
A miscalculation for sure considering the low score.
I still think this is one of my better pictures. Perhaps just not DPC friendly.

This is lovely, the glassy eyes with their movable colours set like precious stones in shiny fur.

Lovely light, lovely mood to this, and I like the way you got her all in one little box.

The strong focus point seems to be on the left eye and across the whiskers. I think, for me, the impact might have been stronger if the focus were more on the closer, right eye. Also, while the 'green' is kinda weak for me, the reds/yellows are very pleasing.

There's a bit of motion blur, but nice framing.

I think the wrong parts of the shot are in focus, need to be more on the eyes

Gorgeous cat. Focus is caught on only one eye though... and it seems ever so slightly blurry overall.

I would prefer that the near eye was in focus.

I can't put my finger on it, but somehow this picture does not talk to me.

Very pretty eyes, would like to see the focus on them sharper.

seems a lil high on contrast.....an amazing shot nevertheless!...

A little too dark for my taste, and too much motion blur.

Considering the title, I would expected the eyes to be more in focus
