 Picture of a polar bear giving me the tongue. Taken at Sea World. I waited and waited until the bear actually looked at me, but little did I expect him to give me a funny grin.

Good detail, though I can't see that the centred framing does much for this one. My main gripe would be with your greyscale though - the poor thing looks grey rather than any shade of white, which works against your title, certainly.

This really could stand to have some level adjustments, the bear looks kind of gray to me.

good subject - my only recomendation would be to up the contrast some - seems a little dark for a polar bear (and yes my monitor is calibrated correctly ;) - just a thought. nice work.

What a mean polar bear! Tone seems way flat. Adjust levels and curves to kick it up a notch or two. You did capture sharp details of the bear's fur etc.

Picture looks a little faded. May just be the DOF and focus on the bear's side fur. Seems like it could use a little more contrast though, not sure. Good catch on the expression and focus on the face.

your focus seems right on, as far as i can tell. great photo, but a bit too dark to notice the tongue.
