| Lighting makes this shot, and indeed your model (you?) looks quite scary. I like the door, but the lighting isn't as intense as the rest of the photo. The dark negative space also enhances the effect. |

| PAW - Creative shot. I agree with comments it would be better with the man closer to the door. Also, he looks disinterested. If he had a menacing look it would be much more effective if that was your purpose. On the other hand maybe it was your neighbor coming over for dinner and loaning you his carving knife. |

| I like the door as it gives some scale and context to the shot, but I don't like it because it competes with the subject. Incredible lighting. |

That is initially quite haunting -- but after the initial "Yikes", the exquisite lighting blew me away. It's beautiful. Your portrait photoraphy is getting so amazing, Steve!

| Good lighting good model and arrangement. A different composition with maybe less dead space, or with the dead space concentrated on one side or another... (just me thinking out loud) |

| I like the idea, I think I have one very similar from a couple of years ago that I didn't do nearly so well. Maybe the guy could be a little bigger in the frame. Cool lighting. |

| What I like about this photo is the floating effect of the subject. It makes it seem believable that he's just been seen outside the door, and bad things will follow. |

| Nice lighting. Negative space adds to the photo, but I personally like to see the subject little colser. IMHO, the space in the bottom is not adding much. |

| Cool shot--I like the lighting. I like the door for context, but it has a weird effect of making the subject look really small, perhaps a perspective issue. |
