These horses were all sprawled out like the one in the middle until I got out of the car to take a photo of them. I was not sure whether to keep all three in the picture or if I should have cropped the left one out for the sake of the composition. Your opinions are welcome.

The horses have some lovely tanned bodies. Warm cozy feel.

I like the three of them together - tells me more, like they are resting in the somulent heat of the afternoonlove this image.

Not so sure if this applies to photographs as much as to design and layout ... but the rule is three is always best, if three doesn't work the next rule is odd numbers. Something about evens make design less exciting. Don't know if that little gem will help or not. Hope it does.
Now on a just personal note ... I really like all three in varying stages of laziness. Makes me smile.

I love this! The two on either side kind of bookend the one in the middle. Such happy looking horses.

This is a nice glimpse of a sunny afternoon. You have to be ready when you get there to get shots of animals relaxing. If you have to shoot through barbed wire to get the shot while still in your car, try low iso, and wide aperture and the wire will disappear.
It looks like you have the market cornered on that SX10 IS Canon here at DPC, with all of the challenge entries for that camera being your shots.

What beautiful animals! They warm the soul to look at them warming themselves in the sun :)
